Speaker	:	Sr Prof. Wong Bay, MBA, FHKIS, FRICS, RPS(BS), RI(S) Wong Bay is a Building Surveyor by profession. He is a Past President of HKIS in 2010 and 2011. He served in the Hong Kong Government for over 37 years. During his tenure as a civil servant, he spent most of his time in the Architectural Services Department and Housing Department. He escalated from Maintenance Surveyor to Assistant Director of Housing before his retirement in 2010, contributing to estate maintenance, improvements and facilities management. He has managed maintenance and A&A projects with a budget value over $4 Billion per annum. Sr Prof. Wong was presented the “Distinguished Building Surveyors 1998 Award” by HKIS. Currently, he has taken up a role in education as Adjunct Professor at the Department of Real Estate and Construction of The University of Hong Kong, aiming to nurture the young generation. During the event, Mr. Wong will share his experience when he was the Senior Maintenance Surveyor in Housing Department from 1981-1989 in dealing with the comprehensive structural strengthening of some of the PRH Blocks of Wah Fu Estate. Sr Tse Siu Ming Stephen, retired SBS of BD, will assist in the visit as he is currently dealing with some of the fire safety improvement works of PRH Blocks under the FSBO Cap 572.

Details	:	參加者在華富邨集合後，首先由黃比先生及謝少明先生介紹華富邨公屋一些基本資料及其樓宇之特色及有關結構加固情況。之後，大家會實地參觀有關樓宇及附近景物，再到瀑布灣公園，欣賞曾被稱為[新安八景] 之一的瀑布景色及拍照留念。參加者之後會步行到華貴邨華貴酒樓午膳。
Remarks	:	此活動可透過網上報名，亦請遞交「Standard Reservation Form and Declaration Form」作報名。名額先到先得。成功報名者會獲電郵確認通知。參加者需自行到達集合地點。請參加者準時到達集合地點報到。

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
