AIQS, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, Quantity Surveying Division (HKIS QSD), are proud to bring you our first joint face-to-face CPD event, in which we delve into the transformative impact of cutting-edge technologies on Quantity Surveying (QS).

This session will cover the integration of Open BIM Data Platforms, highlighting their role in enhancing the efficiency of quantity take-off processes through improved data exchange and model management. We will also explore the adoption of AI technologies, such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, in QS, focusing on how these tools can increase accuracy, reduce errors, and optimise project workflows.

Additionally, the event will address embodied carbon assessments, emphasising the importance of sustainable building practices. We will showcase digital tools that quantify a building's carbon emissions throughout its lifecycle. By embracing these advancements, QS professionals can contribute to a more sustainable future while benefiting from the efficiency and precision offered by digital tools.

This event is essential for stakeholders, policymakers, and industry professionals committed to leading the way in QS through innovation and sustainability.
