Join us for an exciting event organized by the HKIS Members Welfare Committee! We invite you and your family members to a Visit to T Park on 2 September 2023 (Saturday).

T Park, located in Tuen Mun Tsang Tsui, is not only a comprehensive sludge treatment facility but also a leisure and educational destination for the public. It also features various attractions such as outdoor gardens, a bird sanctuary, and a self-service tea house. Since its opening in 2016, T Park has already welcomed over 280,000 visitors.

During the visit, you'll have the opportunity to join an exclusive guided tour of T-Park and T-SPA experience for HKIS members.

The 1.5-hour guided tour will take you to the Environmental Education Centre to learn about the sludge treatment process through a range of innovative and interactive ways. The T-SPA is supported by the heat energy recovered from the sludge incineration process. The 3 spa pools indicating hot, ambient and cool temperatures offer seamless sea view of Deep Bay, a perfect place to relax and refresh.

Itinerary:

9:30 AM - 9:45 AM	Pick up at Kowloon Tong MTR Station Exit D
10:20 AM - 10:30 AM	Pick up at Tuen Mun MTR Station Exit F1
10:30 AM - 11:00 AM	Shuttle bus to T Park
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM	Free time to enjoy the outdoor gardens, bird sanctuary, rooftop garden, and more
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM	Guided Tour (indoor)
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM	Lunch at T Café (sandwiches, salad, coffee, etc., at members' own expense)
2:30 PM - 3:45 PM	T-SPA
4:00 PM	Shuttle bus departs from T Park
4:30 PM	Drop off at Tuen Mun MTR Station Exit F1
5:00 PM	Dismiss at Kowloon Tong MTR Station Exit D

The event has a quota of 50 participants, and the fee is $100 per head (lunch not included). This event is exclusively for HKIS members, so bring along your family members and make it a memorable day!

Remarks

Online registration and cheque payment are required for this event. First-come-first-served. Walk-in is not available.
The event is open for members and their family members to join (limited to direct family members and a max. of 4).
While HKIS will arrange for insurance policy for the participants, members may consider taking out their own insurance policy to cover their own risks.
Latecomers will NOT be picked up and will NOT be allowed to join the event.
All participating members shall arrange their own transport to the pick-up point.
If participants wish to arrange their own transport to T-Park or to leave early, they shall book a private car parking space at T-Park or the official shuttle bus of T-Park at least 3 days before the event at https://www.tpark.hk/en/visit/. The shuttle bus runs from T-Park to V City Tuen Mun.
T-SPA is open to both male and female visitors. There is no separate pool for individual gender.
To protect others regarding hygiene and safety issues, visitors with signs and symptoms of communicable diseases, such as respiratory illness, diarrhea, red-eye syndrome, hand-foot-and-mouth disease or skin lesions should not use T-SPA. Persons who are unwell, have heart disease, pregnant, or with high or low blood pressure, consumed alcohol, overfeed or starving etc. are not recommended to use T-SPA.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
