Details	:	Trend of BIM is unavoidable. 'BIM' is a process for creating and managing information on a construction project across the project lifecycle. Application and usage of BIM is exploring by many construction professional including engineer, builder, surveyor and housing expertise. For instance, working drawing may be produced from design BIM, or land surveyor works with BIM directly for any filed work (from setting-out, quality control to as-built survey). Since BIM is a complex system involving many disciplines, co-operation among different professionals would be a trend and must. Speaker of this event would advise how land surveyor could effectively extract information from BIM world, and the possibility of producing 100% as-built BIM.
Remarks	:	For Face-to-Face: Special arrangements under COVID-19 Pandemic: Prior online registration is required. Walk-in registration will not be entertained. All participants are required to take a RAT with negative result on the event day prior to coming to the venue. Limited number of seats with social distancing is available at the Surveyors Learning Centre. Participants will be denied entry to the Surveyors Learning Centre if they have been travelling abroad, or have been in direct contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or have any symptoms of COVID-19 (including but not limited to fever, cough, shortness of breath, breathing difficulty, sudden loss of taste or smell and/or sore throat) in the last 21 days, or have been confirmed with COVID-19 or undergoing compulsory quarantine or medical surveillance arrangements of the HKSAR Department of Health. Participants are required to wear a surgical mask at all times at the Surveyors Learning Centre. Eating and drinking is not allowed at the Surveyors Learning Centre. Disinfection service has been arranged at the Surveyors Learning Centre (comprising the Lecture Room, Meeting Room 1, Board Room, Library and Meeting Room 2). *For ZOOM: The event will be conducted online via ZOOM. Upon successful registration, the ZOOM link for joining the CPD event will be available in the CPD/PQSL profile under the "Member Area" of the HKIS website. On-line registration is not applicable for non-HKIS members. 1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
