Details :

The threat of climate change is real, but development is a basic need for humankind. As a land surveyor, have you ever thought about how can you contribute to climate resilience and sustainability? In this talk, the speaker would like to discuss how Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geospatial data would be the most powerful “weapon” to fight against climate change, achieve sustainable development, and make our city prosperous. The GIS that land surveyors specialize in, plays a fundamental role in creating and sharing geospatial data, as well as informs policy formulation and decision-making around sustainable development programs and investments.
