This course is designed to focus on the experience sharing of cultural heritage conservation in Yim Tin Tsai, which won the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Award in 2005 & 2015, and consists of an evening seminar and a weekend morning visit.

Speaker

Ar. Anna Kwong was the President of the Hong Kong Institute of Architect (2009-2010 biennium) and the first female elected to the position since the HKIA was founded in 1956. An Authorized Person and Registered Architect herself, Ar. Anna commenced her practice in 2006. She carries out conservation for many church buildings/new projects for NGOs and developers: among them three have won the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation Asia-Pacific Culture Heritage & Conservation Award ("UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Award") and another Community Building Award from The HKIA.

With over thirty years of professional experience working in the public sector and the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong, she has been appointed by the HKSAR Government to the Town Planning Board, Council and Court of the Lingnan University, HK Academy of Performing Arts, the Trade Development Council-Infrastructure Development Advisory Committee and so on.

Ar. Anna voluntary service to the global and local community includes the elected posts of International Director, District 17 Governor and Area Director of Zonta International, president of Zonta Club of Kowloon; Council and Executive Committee Member of Hong Kong Federation of Women and a recipient of the Bauhinia Leadership Award organized by the HK Agency for Volunteer Service. Ar. KWONG is an Election Committee Member for the HKSAR Chief Executive (2006 & 2011) and the National People's Congress Hong Kong Deputies (2007 & 2012).

On 1 July 2005, Ar. Kwong was awarded by the HKSAR Government with a Medal of Honour for her contribution to the Promotion of Civic Education and Management of Cemeteries. In 2013, Ar. Kwong was appointed by a listed company to serve as an Independent Non-executive Directors at its Board.

The event will be conducted online via ZOOM. Upon successful payment of the registration fee, the ZOOM link for joining the CPD event will be available in the CPD/PQSL profile under the "Member Area" of the HKIS website.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
