Decarbonisation is a hot topic nowadays. Most of the building owners thirst for the new technology to reduce the energy use and carbon dioxide (CO2) output of their building. Photovoltaic technology is very common and mature in Hong Kong. It is necessary and important to combine with a unique solution to maximize the benefit of the solar application.
Air-conditioning system plays a big role in the air circulation inside the building. It consumes more than 30% electricity of the building. Thanks to retro-commissioning (RCx) returns HVAC equipment to its original design specification and ensures proper maintenance & operation in the future. However, it is not possible to resist the effect of corrosion degradation, especially on the condenser coil. Innovative technology is required to recover the heat exchange capacity of coils with anti-corrosion function to improve the saving result for RCx.

Benny Lo is the Head of Finance of Solar Farm HK Ltd who has great experience in the solar energy industry especially in the financing field and is familiar with market trends. In addition to photovoltaic engineering, Benny is the solar energy investment consultant to lead the company's growth and development.

Kenny Chan is an experienced Sales Leader for Fortune 500 companies and startups who has over 10 years of experience in sales & business development. Kenny focuses on acquiring innovative technology to help decarbonisation. He is the unpaid Technical Consultant of Solar Farm HK Ltd and BEAM Professional (EB).

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
