YSG Mainland Study Tour of the Greater Bay Area
YSG’s one-day tour of the Greater Bay Area was successfully held on 17 June. Twentyfour members joined this event with the Honourable Sr Tony Tse as their honorary advisor. The tour itinerary was fully packed with visits to three places. After arriving in Guangzhou by high-speed rail, the delegation first visited the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, which is the longest sea bridge in the world. Members had a chance to walk along the bridge and visit the exhibition hall of this mega civil project. After lunch, they visited Nanshan and rode the AI autonomous vehicles. Last, but not least, members visited the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), whose campus was completed in June 2022. One of its architects led the delegation on a tour of this facility.
