CPD Talk by Sr Y Y Yip
On 10 June, it was our pleasure to invite Sr Y Y Yip, the Chairman of HKIS BIM Committee, to present a CPD Talk with the topic “What are the impacts of BIM, Big Data and AI on City Planning?”. By applying the BIM technology in various development projects, Sr Yip was awarded the BIMer of the Year in 2014 by CIC and he is now the Assessor and the first batch of CIC-certified BIM Manager of the CIC BIM Certification and Accreditation Scheme. Apart from the sharing of his practical experiences in BIM technology application, he also pointed out the importance of the integration of BIM, Big Data and AI in planning for Smart Cities in future.
